The Ministry of Digital Development is discussing with the Ministry of Finance an indefinite extension of the current 0% income tax rate for IT companies. A meeting on this issue will be held by the end of July. This was told to Vedomosti by a source in the Ministry of Digital Development and confirmed by an interlocutor in the industry association. According to the latter, both the indefinite nature of the benefits and their extension until 2030 are being discussed.
The representative of the Ministry of Finance declined to comment on the discussion of tax benefits for IT companies. The Ministry of Digital Transformation did not respond to Vedomosti’s request.
