The National Technology Center for Digital Cryptography is developing a super-antivirus program called Multiscanner, which is an analogue of the free VirusTotal service that analyzes files and links for malware. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development Alexander Shoitov.
“Of the promising systems that are being developed by the National Technology Center for Digital Cryptography, the so-called Multiscanner system, an analogue in the future of the American VirusTotal system, is such a super-antivirus,” – leads his words TASS.
The necessary infrastructure for this technology is now being developed. The official also added that in 2024, the Antifraud system for blocking calls from spoofed numbers will be fully operational.
The Antifraud system was launched in December 2022. It blocks fraudulent calls from spoofed numbers. As the Roskomnadzor press service clarified in June 2023, during its work it prevented 263.3 million fraudulent calls from spoofed numbers. In May, the number of such calls decreased by 18% compared to April and amounted to 58 million.
