Teachers from Puerto Madryn, Puerto Pirámides and Trelew participated in this first meeting of the training section “Care in the face of problems related to suicide and self-harm in education”.
The training section “Care in the face of problems related to suicide and self-harm in the educational field” held its first meeting on Thursday, April 20, at the SUM of school 526 in Puerto Madryn.
Organized by the Ministry of Education of the province, through the General Directorate of Guidance and Support for School Trajectories, teachers from secondary schools in Puerto Madryn, Puerto Pirámides and Trelew participated.
The meeting brought together directors and directors, Teacher Guidance Tutor (POT), preceptors and preceptors, Inclusion Support Teacher (MAI), among other actors from the educational community.
During the same, precisions were made on the problems related to suicide, as complex and multi-causal subjective sufferings; where comprehensive, intersectoral and co-responsible approaches are required. In addition, work was done in relation to the comprehensive perspective of the rights of children and adolescents (NNA) and the pedagogy of care, as a general framework for addressing these situations when they occur in schools.
