The project, carried out in the Registration System, has an investment of almost 2 billion pesos by the Ministry of Education and has the installation of a modular education system on land managed by the Municipality El Tabo.
The works include two rooms for school education and four rooms for basic education, in addition to the construction of toilets, patios, areas for teachers, administration and food.
The event was attended by the representative of the municipality of San Antonio, Caroline Sireau, Senator Isabel Allende, representatives of the construction company in charge of the project, and members of the educational community of the municipality of El Tabo.
The Secretary of Education, Alejandra Arratia, maintained that “collaboration and working together allow us to take these very important steps. The president has ordered us to be in the land where there is need on the part of the educational community and that made us know this land where we started the plan to build this model school today.”
“As a government we address the infrastructure needs in the educational areas, which is an important condition for the development of education and the protection of educational pathways, so this work adds to the work that has been done in the country with some more than 1,000. projects and 246 billion pesos invested,” he added.
For his part, the Seminary of ValparaísoJuan Pablo Álvarez, assured that the activities of the establishment will allow “to respond to the lack of feeling for registration, which allows boys, girls and young people to access the right to education. In a joint effort between the communities and the Ministry of Education, today we are starting a construction that is undoubtedly innovative and that adds to the 105 other projects that we have in the region, with 31 billion pesos of investment in infrastructure.
Finally, Alfonso Muñoz, the local leader of El Tabo He noted that “today we took a big step towards quality education with the laying of the first stone of a historic modular school. This milestone marks the beginning of a project that seeks to provide space and resources for our youth.”
