The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan continues to fulfill its obligations, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies.
As the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Day.Az, on the basis of calls received on the hot line “112” of the ministry, the relevant structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out 60 fire extinguishing trips over the past day, rescue operations were carried out in connection with 5 cases of being in a helpless state.
As a result of the prompt and urgent measures taken, prompt extinguishing of fires was ensured, and people’s lives were saved.
In total, 4 people were rescued over the past day, including 1 child.
