For the first time, the Ministry of Digital Science launched a form for citizens’ participation in the All-Russian Population Census in an online format on the State Services portal. This was reported on the website of the ministry.
“Users of the single portal of State Services need a confirmed or standard account to fill out an electronic census form,” the ministry said, explaining that the form can be filled out from a computer, tablet, smartphone anywhere with Internet access. In addition, citizens of other countries living in Russia can take part in the population census. To do this, they need to have an account of a foreign citizen on the State Services portal with a confirmed SNILS.
As Oleg Kachanov, the deputy head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, specified, the electronic census form was specially adapted for the State Services portal in such a way that it would be convenient to fill out the questionnaire. It will take 15-25 minutes in time, he said.
The all-Russian population census is taking place this year from October 15 to November 14 in most of Russia, and in remote and hard-to-reach areas, the census will last until December 20. At the same time, on the State Services portal, the service can be used from October 15 to November 8.
