The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is looking to enhance cooperation with Hungary and Algeria

The Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity, Abdul Rahman Al-Hadi Khamada, discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Hungarian Embassy to Libya, Peter Czulak, ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting touched on “exchanging views on issues of common interest, especially in light of the Republic of Hungary assuming the presidency of the European Union starting from July 2024.”

In a related context, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, received the Algerian Ambassador to Libya, Suleiman Shanin, “to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, activate mechanisms for joint cooperation in a number of areas, and intensify efforts to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.”
