The Ministry of Health stated that Shobokshi had achieved several major achievements during his leadership of the Ministry, which included the liquidation of all the accumulated debts of the Ministry due to others, which amounted to 8 billion riyals, the development and revitalization of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the establishment of the Cooperative Health Insurance Council, and the completion of health regulations regarding the definition of health facilities and professions. In addition to managing the crisis of the spread of Rift Valley Fever in the Jizan region in 2000, he completed the issuance of 4 volumes of the Saudi Health System Document, and the hospital self-operation project started in an experiment that included 22 hospitals successfully. A commercial health insurance project for residents started; This reduced the burden on the Ministry’s hospitals.
