The Ministry of Innovation and Progress will assist the event and building of a complete of 11 industrial zones and parks within the nation, primarily in Northern Bulgaria. They obtain free financing within the quantity of almost BGN 207 million. The funds are from the Restoration and Sustainability Plan underneath the “Program for Public Help for the Growth of Industrial Areas, Parks and Comparable Territories and for Attracting Investments (“AttractInvestBG”)”. This was introduced by the Ministry of Innovation and Progress.
In keeping with the process introduced by the Common Directorate “European Funds for Competitiveness” on the Ministry of Innovation and Progress, 20 tasks with declared funding within the quantity of almost BGN 384 million utilized.
A complete of 11 industrial parks and zones in ten cities will obtain funding: Ruse, Shumen (two industrial parks), Svishtov, Lovech, Sofia, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Vidin, Targovishte, Sliven. Candidates in Northern Bulgaria had precedence underneath this system, with the intention of lowering regional imbalances within the nation.
