These services primarily relate to clemency and bail procedures. They also include an electronic exchange platform with the commissioners of justice, as well as an electronic portal dedicated to filing complaints.

The Ministry of Justice announced, Monday in Rabat, the launch of new digital platforms and electronic services aimed at facilitating citizens’ digital access to its services.

This project aims to digitize the services of the Ministry of Justice, to improve relations with litigants, to strengthen electronic communication, indicated on this occasion the Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi. “This program will guarantee a form of clarity and transparency in relations between litigants and citizens,” added the minister, stressing that the future of justice in Morocco depends on digitization.

Ouahbi also announced that an integration competition for around 200 digital technicians will be organized in the coming weeks, with a view to offering services related to this area within the courts.

These services have the advantage of allowing the citizen to follow the progress of the processing of his request via his mobile phone, he explained, adding that they also allow the citizen to lodge complaints while following the process of their treatment.

For her part, the Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Ghita Mezzour, indicated that this program aims to deepen the digitization of the administration, stressing that this new digital dynamic is part of the new model of development that considers the digital transition as a real lever for development.

The digitization projects of the Ministry of Justice are an opportunity to recall the level of cooperation and coordination existing between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform and the Ministry of Justice, welcomed Mezzour.
