The Ministry of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity confirmed, “continuing to prepare a new convoy of basic needs for the southwestern regions hit by floods.”

The ministry explained that “the team tasked with following up on the conditions of families affected by the floods that hit some areas of the south, continues to prepare the convoy that contains tents, mattresses, blankets, children’s supplies, cleaning materials, and others,” noting that “these needs came according to a list of… Initial needs prepared by branches of affected areas“.

The ministry pointed out that it sent “the first convoys loaded with the needs of the affected families to the southern region, accompanied by a team that includes employees from the ministry’s office and the Social Studies Center, to join the branch employees in those regions to support the residents of the affected areas and help them overcome the difficult circumstances that some areas of the south are going through.”
