Russia and Armenia Discuss Expanding Cooperation on Territorial Development
On October 7, a meeting was held in Armenia between the President of the “Rusatom International Network” sectoral complex, Vadim Titov, and the RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan. The focus of the meeting was to explore avenues for expanding cooperation between Russia and Armenia in the field of territorial development.
Proposed Projects and Solutions
The meeting discussed several potential projects and solutions, including:
Providing uninterrupted power supply to important urban and rural areas through modern electricity storage systems.
Utilizing composite materials, such as carbon fibers, for infrastructure development in seismically active regions.
Addressing issues of domestic, medical, and industrial waste accumulation.
Digitizing individual systems and optimizing city transport.
Developing electric transport and enhancing the efficiency of Yerevan Municipality.
Strengthening Technological Alliance
Both parties acknowledged the potential for a deeper technological alliance between Russia and Armenia. Rosatom, a leading Russian organization in the field, has introduced numerous new production and innovation chains that can connect Russian and Armenian enterprises, corporations, and engineering centers.

Armenian Minister Gnel Sanosyan expressed interest in various areas beyond nuclear energy, including:
