Due to the non-holding of the meeting of the agrarian commission in the National Assembly last Wednesday, the program remains the same this week.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food will present tomorrow, September 27, before the parliament Committee on Agriculture draft changes to The strategic plan.
In the agenda of the meeting, which will start at 4:30 p.m., it is written that it will be considered project for the redistribution of the funds provided for interventions in the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas in Bulgaria for the period 2023-2027, with the aim of achieving a fairer distribution of direct payments in favor of production areas, eco-schemes, sectoral interventions and investments, with the aim of supporting small and medium-sized farms in the production of Bulgarian fruits and vegetables, milk, meat and honey, suffered serious damage in recent years and dangerously decreased as a share of agricultural production.
A draft law amending and supplementing the Plant Protection Act, No. 49-354-01-98, submitted by Desislava Taneva and a group of people’s representatives on September 15, 2023 – for the first vote, will be presented and discussed.
Two projects for amendments and additions to the Law on Veterinary Medical Activity, submitted by MP Hristo Daskalov, will also be considered for a first vote.
A draft Decision on a moratorium on changing the purpose of agricultural land – state and municipal property for the construction of photovoltaic parks, 49-354-02-10, submitted by Kostadin Kostadinov, will also be discussed.
