Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Health revealed the symptoms that appear on the infected person in the seasonal flu, which are shivering and sweating, high temperature of more than 38 degrees, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, persistent cough, dryness and a runny nose.
The ministry explained in an infographic published on its account on the “Live Healthy” platform that this disease causes a number of complications, the most important of which are pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, blood poisoning, and death.
The Ministry called on everyone to adhere to wearing a mask, which is one of the most important ways to prevent disease, in addition to avoiding touching the eyes or mouth directly, the necessity of obtaining the vaccine, and ensuring the cleanliness of the place, in addition to washing hands well, and using tissues when sneezing and coughing.
The Ministry of Health had launched an awareness campaign to vaccinate against seasonal influenza under the slogan “The Moment You Don’t Wish”, targeting the groups most affected by it, such as the elderly, people with chronic diseases, people with immunodeficiency, pregnant women, health workers, and the general community members, stressing that vaccination is safe and does not It has significant side effects, and its effectiveness has been proven for many years in all countries of the world.
