The Mont-Blanc tramway, in Haute-Savoie, is undergoing a major transformation. It is modernized with a new design.

In Saint-Gervais-les-Bains (Haute-Savoie), there is a crowd to welcome Marie. This is the name given to the brand new motor of the Mont-Blanc tramway (Haute-Savoie). All motor cars have a female name. “It will be something new, and she is beautiful”, rejoices a young resident. The event is historic: the Mont-Blanc tramway had not modernized its machines since the 1950s.
