The moon of the month of Shawwal was not seen in the sky of Bangladesh on Tuesday (April 9). As a result, 30 days of Ramadan will be completed on Wednesday (April 10). In that case, Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims across the country, will be celebrated on Thursday (April 11).

The National Moon Sighting Committee held a meeting at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram in the hall of the Islamic Foundation at 6:30 PM for the sighting of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr moon.

The meeting was presided over by the President of the National Moon Sighting Committee and the Minister of Religious Affairs. Faridul Haque Khan. In the meeting, the date of Eid-ul-Fitr celebration was decided by reviewing the news of the sighting of the moon in the month of Shawwal of 1445 Hijri.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Religion briefed. Faridul Haque Khan. He said that the deputy directors of the foundation from 64 districts said that the Moon was not seen by calling the Dini Dawat and Culture Department of Baitul Mukarram Islamic Foundation. In this situation, 30 days of Ramadan will be completed tomorrow, Wednesday. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Thursday (April 11), the first day of the month of Shawwal.

Earlier, if the moon of the holy month of Ramadan is seen somewhere in the sky of Bangladesh, it should be called on 02-223381725, 02-41050912, 02-41050916 and 02-41050917 and by fax on 02-223383397 and 02-9555951 or to the District Administrator (DC) of the concerned district. ) or Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) was requested by the Islamic Foundation.

Meanwhile, the moon of the holy month of Shawwal was not seen in Saudi Arabia on Monday (April 8). This time, the 30 days of the holy month of Ramadan have been completed on Tuesday. As a result, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Saudi on Wednesday (April 10).

The United Arab Emirates and Qatar have also announced that Tuesday will be the last day of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday.
