Organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, in partnership with Casablanca Events and Animation and the territorial brand “Wecasablanca”, and with the support of the National Lottery, this musical-cultural event promises to be an immersive celebration of traditional Moroccan musical heritage, indicates the AMMA in a press release.

This event, placed under the theme “Moroccan musical heritage: odyssey of regional influences at the heart of Moroccan cultural wealth”, will feature the prestigious Andalusian orchestra of Fez, conducted by the great master Mohamed Briouel, accompanied by the talented singer and researcher Majda El Yahyaoui and the prodigious Chaimae Imrane, adds the same source.

The program will also include pieces of Andalusian music, Melhoun, songs from the Moroccan repertoire of the North and Samaa, thus offering a musical journey to the heart of Moroccan cultural wealth, it is emphasized, noting that the guests of the AMMA will be immersed in a vibrant musical experience, exploring the rhythms and colors of Moroccan culture through its roots and derivatives.

“By launching this new cultural season, we reaffirm our commitment to the preservation and celebration of Moroccan musical heritage,” said AMMA President and Founder Fatima Mabchour, adding that “our goal is to shine the spotlight on the richness of our traditional music on the national and international stage through artistic experiences that reflect the grandeur and uniqueness of Moroccan culture,” the statement continued.

Since its creation, AMMA has been committed to preserving and promoting Moroccan musical heritage through cultural initiatives that celebrate its authenticity and diversity. Despite its young age, AMMA has been able to energize the Casablanca music and cultural scene by organizing exceptional events with national and international artists, thus contributing to the discovery and export of Moroccan music as a universal ambassador of Moroccan culture.

“The National Lottery devotes all of its revenues to social and solidarity actions. It thus contributes to the development of the Moroccan economic and social landscape, in particular through its support for the promotion of culture,” indicated, for its part, the National Lottery Management Company (SGLN), according to the press release.
