Decades of war, and not a single person had to die because of it. What seems like a utopia in view of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine is now becoming reality between the former rivals Canada and Denmark. In the far north, the dispute over Hans Island, known as the “most peaceful conflict in the world” or also known as the “whisky war”, is coming to an end today – provided that the national parliaments still agree to the settlement of the dispute, which is to be assumed.
