We review the three most read recommendations during the month of February 2023: tips for proper writing of the news about carnival, the plural formation of words ending in “-y” and unnecessary writing keys and foreign words in the world of cinema.
1. carnival, keys to proper writing
The most read recommendation for the month of February is a list of keys to carnival. We explain, among other things, what is the difference between writing carnavalwith lowercase, and Carnaval, with a capital letter. In addition, we indicate that terms such as sambodromo o cumbiódromo They are well trained and can be used without any highlight in Spanish.

2. plural of words ending in -y
In the second most viewed recommendation of this month, we expose some cases that can help solve the many doubts that arise when forming the plural of words ending in -y. For example, voices like ley make the plural by adding –es (laws), while in others, such as jersey, the y by i and one is added s (pullovers).

3. cinema: writing keys and foreign words
Cinema is the subject of the third most watched recommendation for the month of February. We present eight keys and a list of foreign words with alternatives in Spanish, such as plot twist, spoiler o trailer, to facilitate the writing of news related to the seventh art. We recall, among other things, that script is written without accents and that the titles of the films are written in italics.
