Elathur: The mother of the accused, who was arrested in the case of school student kidnapping, was found dead. The mother of Subin, a native of Purakatteri, who was arrested in the case, was found dead.
In the city school T.C. Periyail Subin (22), a native of Thalakulathur Purakattiri, and Kunathathazhekuni Siraj (38), a native of Ullyeri Kolathur, were arrested in the incident of abducting a girl from Ullyeri who went shopping. Commissioner P. A police team led by Bijuraj had arrested him. The case against Subin is under POCSO Act. The police say that he sexually assaulted the girl. A case was filed against Siraj for inducing the girl to use drugs.
Subin was caught from his house in Purakattiri and Siraj from Ullieri Angadi. Three more people are yet to be arrested, including the accused who fell in love with the girl. Abdul Nasari (52) was arrested earlier from Channapatnam in Bengaluru at the house of Purakattiri Zabaitul Noor. The girl went missing on July 6.
