ZDF broadcasts repeats of “Die Bergretter” on Thursdays. The end of the old episodes is in sight. But what happens next?
Dortmund – Filming for the new season of “The Mountain Rescuers” is coming to an end. Shortly before the end, “Bergdoktor” star Ronja Forcher visited the set. At the same time, viewers can watch repeats of the popular TV series on Thursdays. However, there is an end in sight.
“The Mountain Rescuers” is being removed from the TV show – ZDF announces changes
In total, ZDF shows five old episodes of “Die Bergretter” in its TV program. The replays will be interrupted on two dates, July 25 and August 1, at the Summer Olympics in Paris. An overview of the upcoming episodes of the series can be found here:
- “scorched earth” – June 27, at 8:15 pm
- “Disclosure” – July 4, at 8:15 pm
- “Eyes open” – July 11, at 8:15 pm
- “red snow” – July 18, at 8:15 pm
- “this one life” – August 8, at 8:15 pm
“The Mountain Rescuers” will be on ZDF until the beginning of August – new episodes are expected to be shown in November
In the ZDF program overview you can read for the episode from August 8 that it is “again the last episode” of “Die Bergretter”. But what will happen next on the popular program slot? A request from RUHR24 to the public broadcaster remains unanswered (read more about “The Mountain Rescuers” at RUHR24).
The channel often shows various films and documentaries in August and September before the series season starts again. Season 16 of “The Mountain Rescuers”, for which the first details are already known, is unlikely to continue at the moment. The series usually starts in the autumn, with a few exceptions in November.
After “Marie Catches Fire” – a new episode of “Die Bergretter” from November 7 on ZDF?
What is known at least is that “Marie Catches Fire” will be broadcast on ZDF from October 10, 2024 at 8:15 pm There are four new episodes in total in the TV series. The new episodes of “The Mountain Rescuers” could then be broadcast from 7 November.
