The Minister of Economy and Industry today signed an order canceling the formality of about 100 standards, according to the breakdown: 61 standards in the food sector that will enter into force on January 1, 2023, and about 37 more standards whose formality will be phased out.
The process is carried out as part of the reform of food products in Israel, which will allow the importation and production of various food products without specific requirements for Israel, and as a result will reduce the cost of living.
