The makers have officially sold the OTT streaming rights of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s action-drama genre movie ‘Pushpa 2’, reports Sacknilk.com quoting Akashvani. Netflix has bought all language properties. After the theatrical release, the movie will be released in OTT. For this, Netflix had to count 270 crore rupees (more than 385 crore 9 lakh rupees in Bangladeshi currency). It is believed to be the largest single streaming deal for an Indian film in all languages.
The makers have assured that ‘Pushpa 2’ movie will be more amazing than the first one. The budget is also double that of the first movie. The budget of the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ was Rs 193 crores. This time the budget is 400 crore rupees. Film analysts feel that ‘Pushpa 2’ will have a great response at the box office.
