The “mama’s boy” and the other bride and groom from “Married at First Sight”
The reality show returned to SIC this Sunday, and at the moment everything remains open: it could go very well — or it could be a catastrophe.

“The most romantic social experience”, as described by presenter Diana Chaves, returned to SIC this Sunday, May 5th. Once again, several newlyweds will try to find the love of their lives in the fourth season of “Married at First Sight”.
For competitors to find the “perfect match”, they count on the help of four professionals: Eduardo Torgal, specialist in the enneagram, Sara Malcato, psychologist and specialist in clinical sexology, Luana Cunha, psychologist, family therapist and specialist in intimacy and desire and Cris Carvalho, communications specialist.
The original concept will remain the same, which means that five couples will be put to the test, exchanging rings during the ceremony and meeting for the first time. Then, they have a week of honeymoon, where they go to destinations such as Brazil, Morocco or Iceland.
Back in Portugal, the couples will live together in the same house and it will be at this stage that the real conflicts begin. There are loves that can last a lifetime and others that can go badly and only last a few days.
In the first episode, only one couple walked down the aisle: Inês and Paulo. She is 38 years old, works in the financial department of an airline and is from Mafra. He is also 38, born in Oeiras and works as an IT Manager. Both have had some disappointments in the past, but they feel ready to find love in a person they’ve never met.
We also know that, in the eyes of experts, Flávio and Alexandra are the ideal couple, although they have not yet gotten married at the premiere of the program. The native of Oliveira de Azeméis is 44 years old, is taking a sports massage course and is a “mummy’s boy”, as Eduardo Torgal describes it. His possible future wife lives in Viseu, is 43 years old and works as a real estate consultant — in addition to being “his son’s Uber”.
