KYIV. April 3. UNN. Analysts of the Institute for the Study of War believe that the murder of Vladlen Tatarsky may indicate an internal struggle in the Russian Federation, reports UNN.

The ISW recalled that the mistress of Tatar (Maxima Fomina) was killed in a cafe owned by Prigozhin.

“The murder of Fomin in Prigozhin’s bar is probably part of a more general trend towards the escalation of internal Russian conflicts involving Prigozhin and “Wagner”, – say experts of the institute.

According to ISW, “Fomin’s assassination may have been a warning to Prigozhin, who increasingly questioned the Kremlin’s main propaganda theses about the war in Ukraine and even vaguely hinted at his interest in the position of Russian president – either as a competitor to Putin or as his successor.” .

“Fomin’s biography and behavior are somewhat reminiscent of Prigozhin – they both became famous ultra-nationalist figures after serving time in prison,” ISW said.
