The well-known musician Alexandros Perros, singer and guitarist of the band Alexandros Perros & the Lone Stars, has passed away.
The news of the death of the musician and DJ from Thessaloniki was announced in a post on his Facebook account.
“Alexandros Perros has passed away, but he will never stop rocking our hearts through his songs, his music and his lyrics. Keep Rockin Lone Star in the sky, but you never Walk Alone” reads the post.
Alexandros Perros had a long career in the garage rock ‘n roll and rockabilly music scene, first as a member of Crazy Legs, then in West of Eden and from 1987 in the band Alexandros Perros and the Lone Stars.
Alexandros Perros and the Lone Stars with an important discography participated as a support band in many concerts, among others the Godfathers, Dr Feelgood, Stranglers, Chumbawamba etc.
The musician’s funeral will take place at the Thermi cemeteries on Monday, April 22 at 5:00 pm, as stated in the post.
