It will air from March 19 “I was hoping de died first”, the original Sky series about the life of Francesco Totti, with Pietro Castellitto, son of Sergio, in the role of the captain of Rome.
The six episodes are taken from “A captain”, a book that “il Pupone” wrote with Paolo Condò, and directed by Luca Ribuoli, already known for “The mafia kills only in summer”.
History retraces 27 years of Totti in the Giallorossi, with particular reference to the last two years, characterized by difficulties and misunderstandings with the coach Luciano Spalletti (interpreted by Gianmarco Tognazzi), up to the poignant farewell in tears, in the presence of an Olympic overwhelmed by an incredible emotional wave.
In the cast there are also other faces, like Monica Guerritore, who plays Fiorella, Francesco’s mother. The father Enzo has the face of Giorgio Colangeli, while Greta Scarano plays Ilary Blasi, Gabriel Montesi is in the role of Antonio Cassano, Marco Rossetti in those of Daniele De Rossi and Primo Reggiani plays Giancarlo, a historic friend of Totti.
