Names suggested by 13 countries including India, Pakistan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Thailand, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Myanmar and other countries located in this region will be considered and decided on. A name is being kept.

Mandus means ‘treasure chest’ in the UAE language. After the impact of Cyclone Mandas subsides, the storm that will form in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea will be named ‘Mocca’.
