“This agreement obliges us. » At the opening of the examination in public session of the bill on the sharing of value, Monday, June 26, its rapporteur, Louis Margueritte (Renaissance, Saône-et-Loire), had set the tone for the discussions to come. For the presidential camp, the deputies had to “to transcribe faithfully” – in the oft-repeated words of the Minister of Labour, Olivier Dussopt – the National Interprofessional Agreement (ANI) signed in February by all employers’ organizations and trade unions, with the exception of the CGT. It is done, after four days of debate, with the adoption at first reading Thursday morning by a large majority of this bill with 112 votes for, 27 against and 8 abstentions.

The presidential coalition was able to count in particular on the votes of the elected Republicans (LR) and the National Rally (RN). On the left, the Socialists also voted in favor of the text while the “rebellious” and the Communists opposed the text. For their part, environmentalists abstained. “It is a very good message that we have just sent to social democracy”rejoiced Louis Margueritte after the vote.

On the occasion of the explanations of vote Thursday morning, the communist deputy for Seine-Maritime, Jean-Paul Lecoq, deplored a transcription “not faithful, but skilful and even a little Machiavellian of the ANI”. ” For what ? Because in reality, and our debates have clearly shown this, the transposition of this national interprofessional agreement will have very little effect for workers”, he criticized. For his part, the Renaissance deputy for Paris, David Amiel, welcomed a text which acts “a principle of justice. When a company earns more, the employees must also earn more..
