The National Court agrees to extradite to Guatemala a businessman claimed for being part of a criminal group along with the former president of the Republic

The National Court has agreed to the extradition of businessman William Anthony SL to Guatemala, where he is being claimed for allegedly being part of a criminal group together with former President Otto Pérez Molina and former Vice President Roxana Baldetti for committing multiple crimes such as irregular adjudication of the construction and management of a new container terminal in Puerto Quetzal. In an order, the magistrates of the Third Section consider that all the necessary requirements are met for the delivery of the businessman with a view to his prosecution for crimes that in Guatemala would constitute illegal association, passive bribery and fraud and that in Spain would be equivalent to belonging to criminal organization, bribery and fraud.
