This morning, the national cyber system detected cyber attacks on some of the Israeli diamond companies. The management of the Diamond Exchange issued a warning to members of the Exchange, stating that “due to an urgent warning from the National Cyber System regarding an unusual and serious attack on diamond companies, their unequivocal recommendation is that anyone with Internet-connected computer systems disconnect from the network this weekend.”
Management told Globes that they are following the guidelines of the National Cyber Authority.
It is still unclear whether this is a targeted attack on Israeli companies and the Israeli Diamond Exchange or whether it is a global attack.
