A number of Palestinian vessels exceeded the prohibited area for fishing in the northern Gaza Strip earlier today (Saturday), in violation of security regulations and sea arm guidelines.
The Sea Arm fighters announced towards them and when they did not respond to the calls, the fighters fired in accordance with the instructions to open fire.
The vessel then returned to the permitted area.

There were no casualties in the incident.
