The Ecuadorian Navy sent the BAE Calicuchima with gas cylinders to supply San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz and Isabela, in the Galapagos. The vessel departed on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from dock 5B of the Naval Squad Command, in Guayaquil
The ship sailed with 8,500 LPG cylinders: 2,000 for San Cristóbal, 4,500 for Santa Cruz and 2,000 more for Isabela Island.
The Navy reported that since April 9, 2023, through its ships and the management carried out with other ships, it has resupplied Galapagos with 36,107 cylinders of liquefied petroleum gas.
