In view of the next general elections, the New Hope Party for Mali (NEMA) has just launched a platform called ”NE MA BLOMBA”. A Platform which will bring together, in the future, all the movements and political parties that adhere to the vision of the new grouping. The official launching ceremony took place, this Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the national headquarters of the said Party, in Korofina, through a press conference, coupled with the anniversary of the year two of the NEMA party. At the presidium, we noted the massive presence of party executives, in particular the President, Samba COULIBALY; the secretary general, Oumar G TRAORE; the assistant administrative secretary, Hassane CISSE; the president of the Youth, Cheick Oumar TRAORE known as YAFFA; the President of Women, KAMATE Maïmouna MAKALOU; Mrs. Astan COULIBALY; etc
This meeting with the men of media, aimed according to the organizers, to inform the national and international opinion of the birth of the new political platform ”NE MA BLOMBA”.
In his explanations, President Samba COULIBALY, first of all, paid tribute to all the victims of the security crisis that Mali has been experiencing for more than a decade before announcing the initiative of this Platform ”NE MA BLOMBA ” which is part, he says, in a dynamic of gradually gaining power in the service of Mali and Malians without exclusion. He said that the birth of the ”NEMA BLOMBA” platform followed a deep analysis of the political environment of Mali and the multiple crises that the country is experiencing.
According to the President of the NEMA party, to arrive at the “Malikura” long awaited by the Malians, the challenges are numerous. Hence, according to him, the need for a pooling of political forces and associations that share the same vision.
However, President Samba COULIBALY argued that the ”NEMA BLOMBA” Platform essentially has four objectives.
It is first of all a question of constituting a force, coming from different political sides, which responds to the aspirations of the Malians in the perspective of the general elections. Also, ”NEMA BLOMBA” wants to bridge the gap between citizens and political leaders, born of an unprecedented crisis of confidence installed following the mismanagement of public affairs. Added to this is the significant improvement in governance so that Mali is an emerging and peaceful country where people have access to basic social services and fair justice. Finally, Platform ”NEMA BLOMBA” aims to contribute through its concerted actions to solving the country’s security problem.
To achieve these goals, the national chairman of the NEMA party invited all citizens; political parties, groups of political parties and associations sharing the vision and ideals of ”NEMA BLOMBA” to join this platform.
In addition, Samba COULIBALY declared that a ”Manifesto” translating the vision of ”NEMA BLOMBA” will be proposed to citizens and political parties.
Note that this press conference coincided with the two-year anniversary of the New Hope for Mali (NEMA) party celebrated significantly.
