BMW’s major goal in the coming years is the start of the so-called “new class”, which is to come onto the market in 2025 with the next generation of the electric BMW 3 Series. The new class already existed in the early 1960s and expectations were similarly high. It marked the beginning of Bayern’s final rise to become a premium manufacturer.
