The new version of the public call platform on Simap.ch offers will be launched on July 1. To use it, all donors and bidders must register again on the platform, which informs the canton of Bern. Data will not be transferred from the old platform.

Public contracting authorities can register for the new version of Simap from 1 June at prod.simap.ch. In addition, a training website will be available from May 21 under educ.simap.ch.

Initially, the new platform was intended to operate under the URL KISSimap.ch. However, this will not be the case, the platform will still be accessible through Simap.ch. However, the current platform will be moved to the Old.simap.ch address and will remain accessible until December 31, 2024.

“New publications will be made exclusively on the new platform from July 1, 2024,” the press release states. Procedures already underway must be completed on July 1 on the old platform.

First abandoned in June 2019, the simap.ch modernization project was relaunched at the beginning of 2020. The objective at the time was to launch the new platform at the end of 2022. Deadline pushed back to February 2023, ie due to the extreme complexity of the redesign which required a much larger agenda than originally planned.
