The new Vijay film is part of the Lokesh universe; Naren confirmed
Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which started with the release of Vikram movie, excited the movie buffs. Every Kaiti reference in the film created a buzz in the theatres.
Lokesh also informed that the upcoming films will also be a part of LCU. After this, questions were raised from one corner that there will be a film where Karthi, Suriya and Kaiti will come with Rolex and Kaiti 2 will have Rolex.
But the number of people who were waiting to know if the new film directed by Lokesh with Vijay as the hero was also included in the Lokesh Universe was ten times more than that.
Questions were also raised whether Lokesh’s earlier Vijay film will be a part of the Master Universe. Lokesh did not give a clear answer in this regard.
But Inspector Bijoy, the favorite character of Lokesh universe, has given a confirmation in that regard. In an interview given to Desabhimani, Naren has confirmed that Vijay will also enter the universe through Dalapati 67.
‘In Vikram, I played the same character as Inspector Bijoy in Kaiti. I am very happy that all the discussions about Lokesh Cinematic Universe started from that character.
Lokesh’s upcoming film Vijay is also a part of LCU. But I am not in it. After that comes Kaiti 2. I am a part of it. Kaiti 2 is gearing up on a big canvas. Such a cinematic universe is the first time in Indian cinema. It was possible only because of Lokesh’s excellence,’ said Narine.
Naren’s words have led to huge discussions in film groups. The audience is waiting to know if Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Suriya, Karthi, Fahadh and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen together on screen.
