Since the arrest of Abed Ali, the driver of Bangladesh Public Works Commission (PSC) chairman, various kinds of information about the matter have been spread on social media. In the meantime, information has also started spreading involving the mother of musician and actor Tahsan. Dr. Zinatun Nessa is the mother of singer and actor Tahsan Khan. It is being claimed that his driver was Abed Ali. Lyricist and music composer Prince Mahmud protested against spreading misleading information about these issues.
Prince Mahmud posted the matter on his Facebook page on Wednesday (July 10) afternoon. In it, he wrote, ‘The news spread in the name of Tahsan is completely false, completely false. These news are being spread to divert attention. I have seen since childhood, Tahsan’s parents are both very honest people. Tahsan grew up like the children of ordinary government officials. I did not see any luxury. Tahsan’s achievements are all for music. However, they are being spread to cover up the real crooks. I strongly condemn these.’

Regarding Tahsan Khan’s mother Zinatun Nessa, Prince Mahmud wrote, ‘Tahsan’s mother Zinatunnesa was the chairman of PSC from 2002-2007. And the issue of question leak has happened since 2012, that means last one era or 12 years. He is a criminal because he drives his car, but that is not the case. It should be known first whether the question was leaked while he was in charge or whether he was in any position or involved since the time of question leak. Then hopefully we will blame him, if he is guilty or has any responsibility.’
It is known that Abed Ali joined PAC as a driver on December 2, 1997. In April 2014, a departmental case was registered against him for allegedly leaking questions in the written examination for the post of Assistant Maintenance Engineer. He lost his job as the allegations were proved. At the end of 2012, he got the responsibility as the driver of the PSC chairman. AT Ahmedul Haque Chowdhury was the chairman of PSC at that time. On December 24, 2013, retired secretary and former Dhaka divisional commissioner Ikram Ahmed was appointed as the chairman of PSC. He was the Chairman till 13 April 2016. At that time, Abed Ali was dismissed from the job.
