On the eve of Remembrance Day – January 27th – the new issue of «la Lettura», #634 on Saturday 20th in the App and Sunday 21st on newsstands, dedicates the first eight pages to one of the great black holes of history and to the knots which still reverberate in the present. In the supplement’s newsletter, arriving on Friday 19 January via email, Antonio Carioti anticipates some of them.
The «la Lettura» newsletter arrives every Friday via email to those who sign up here and to subscribers to the supplement App. It also offers readers literary previews (on Friday 19th an excerpt from the book to be released on 23 January by Einaudi When will you listen to this song by Lola Lafon: the author spent a night alone in Anne Frank’s secret refuge in Amsterdam to write it ).
Until January 31st, the «la Lettura» App is on promotion at the special price of €19.99 per year (instead of €39.99): it offers the most recent number of the insert as a preview already on Saturdays, the Archive of all the releases since 2011, the Originals in language and the Theme of the Day, extra digital-only focuses (the one on Friday 19th, curated by Helmut Failoni, traces the history of one-act operas).
