Yesterday evening, Sunday evening, Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, attended the closing ceremony of the second edition of the “Shadow of the Fig” Award for the Holy Qur’an, which was held in the corner of Sheikh Abdul Salam Al-Asmar in the city of Zliten.

During his speech at the ceremony, Al-Dabaiba announced that next year’s edition of the competition will be international, reiterating the support of the National Unity Government for the procession of tablets for memorizers of the Holy Qur’an and its sciences, with all the required decisions.

Al-Dabaiba called on those working in all fields to stay away from discrimination, adhere to unity and respect for scholars, and work to guide and guide people by spreading the Book of God and the Sunnah of the Prophet instead of spreading disagreement and dispersion.

The competition’s closing activities were attended by the head of the State Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, the member of the Supreme Council of State for Zliten, Abdullah Jawan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Mahmoud Saeed, the Chief of Notables and Elders of Misrata, Muhammad Al-Rajoubi, and other officials.

At the conclusion of the celebration, the Prime Minister handed the competition participants incentive prizes, to support and motivate them for what they presented throughout the competition days.
