The singer and judge of the music show “The Next Star”, Itai Levy, who is currently starring in the lead role in the play Casabellan at the Bima National Theater, will appear at the state beacon ceremony to open the events of the 75th anniversary of the State of Israel. Other artists are expected to appear alongside Levy at the ceremony.
Minister of Transportation and Road Safety Miri Regev praised: “With me, Levi brings the strengths and connection of the Eastern warmth with the Israeli voice that is so beloved by all of us. As I suggested before, the artistic part of the beacon ceremony will also bring to light the cultural mosaic of Israeli society.” This year, the beacon ceremony will celebrate Israel’s pioneers, past and present, the first to turn ideas into actions and dreams into reality.
We note that Levy’s first time at the state ceremony was in 2020. In addition, last year Levy appeared at the Israel Prize ceremony in Jerusalem where a prize was awarded to his father Medina, where he performed a string of songs by the veteran singer.
