The Night of Kick and Punch 2021 con Cristina Caruso, Luca Cecchetti e Luca Grusovin
The eleventh edition of The Night of Kick and Punch, a gala dedicated to ring sports which this year will feature the kickboxing-stle K-1 which allows you to hit the opponent with kicks, punches and knees. The fights will all be on the distance of the three rounds of three minutes each. Some of the best Italian athletes will be protagonists, among which three world champions stand out: Cristina Caruso, Luca Cecchetti e Luca Grusovin.

The organizer is always Angelo Valente in collaboration with Sap Fighting Style of Avv. Michele Briamonte. Valente explains his initiative in this way: “I wanted to organize the Night of Kick and Punch in this difficult period because the time has come to resume competitive activity. In fact, I have titled the event Covid reaction = reaction to Covid. Athletes need to fight and fans want to attend the events. Since I was able to reopen the palestra Kick and Punch Downtown Milano in Via Vivaio 1 in Milan and the historic one Kick and Punch in Via Sardegna 60 in Pieve Emanuele I noticed that people want to kickboxing and therefore proposing my gala was a natural choice. As happened in the most recent editions, we will have a ringside full of celebrities from the world of entertainment such as Elisabetta Canalis who presented the 2018 and 2019 editions and today is a passionate kickboxing practitioner. I want to thank the Councilor for Sport of Rozzano Domenico Anselmo who concretely supported The Night of Kick and Punch. “
The Night of Kick and Punch 11: programma
I ringside tickets they are out of stock. Tickets for a seat in the grandstand cost 30 Euros and can be purchased in the Kick and Punch gyms in Milan and Pieve Emanuele whose references can be found on the respective social networks. The event will start at 19.00 and there are ten fights between professionals. The competitive level will be very high. Cristina Caruso, for example, she is one of the strongest Italian athletes and this is demonstrated by the titles won in the WAKO-PRO: world middleweight champion (from 62 to 65 kg) of the K-1 style, European middleweight champion of the style full-contact (punches and kicks above the waist), world champion of light heavyweights (from 65 to 68 kg) of the full contact style. His record consists of 12 wins and 4 losses. Saturday 18 December, in Rozzano, he will face Victoria Lomax. “I can’t wait to return to the ring in Italy – comments Cristina – after two years. My last Italian match dates back to December 14, 2019 at the Vismara sports center in Milan at the Night of Kick and Punch 10 when I beat the Bulgarian Detelina Nedelcheva forcing her to retire at the end of the second round. On that occasion I was particularly motivated because she had disrespected me in weight operations. I hit her at will and she didn’t even know where the punches and kicks were coming from. Last June I fought in Serbia losing the WAKO-PRO middleweight world title by points to local darling Teodora Manic who I consider to be one of the best around. I have seen some videos of Victoria Lomax and I consider her a fighter who throws a lot of punches and kicks and therefore should not be underestimated. We will start a battle until the last second of the last round. The audience will enjoy it. I know I’ll have a great match because I’m in great shape. I train at Kick and Punch Downtown Milan where I work as an instructor. My coach is always Angelo Valente but I also convinced Lino Guaglianone to follow me and he was Angelo’s coach when he was fighting. There was Guaglianone in his corner when the world title was up for grabs. After having conquered so many titles in kickboxing I would like to make my debut in professional boxing. For the moment, I am attending the boxing instructor course. I’m starting to get to know the sector, the insiders, who knows that in the short term he won’t make his debut as a boxer. I am a firm believer in the need to practice all ring sports to become a complete fighter. “
As for the other two world champions who will step into the ring at Night of Kick and Punch 11, Luca Cecchetti will challenge Hayub El Hmidi while Luca Grusovin will face Andrea Orsini. Luca Cecchetti was WAKO-PRO featherweight world champion in the K-1 style. Luca Grusovin won the IKL (International Kickboxing League) world championship of the K-1 style by beating the Franco-Laotian Dimitri Silalack at the Night of Kick and Punch 10.
