The Night When Nobody Sleeps in Huamantla

Thousands of tourists and Tlaxcalans from different latitudes fell in love again with the Magical Town of Huamantla and its traditions in the already known Night When Nobody Sleepsmoment when they witnessed the procession of the Virgin of Charity.

Since early hours of Wednesday and despite the weather conditions adverse, Huamantla artisans began with the installation of the typical ephemeral art carpets in honor of the Virgenbeing one of the main attractions during the night and early morning of this Thursday.

Later, thousands of families arrived in the region, who were able to enjoy a tour of the multi-colored sawdust carpets on the main streets of the Magical Town, as well as tasting typical dishes in different local businesses.

Likewise, the Tlaxcalan singer Carlos Rivera also contributed to this celebration from the facilities of Huamantla House in the Historic Center of the municipality, where he gathered hundreds of fans, received the Virgin and sang three songs from his repertoire.
