Rome opens the Baths of Caracalla on an extraordinary basis from 8pm to 10pm, with two different modes of operation
use: one “free” walk in the underground and in the Mithraeumor a guided tour that
will also allow you to discover the Baths of Caracalla on the surface, among the gymnasiums, the natatio, the
frigidarium and the splendid mosaics.
«Evening visits to the Baths of Caracalla are an event that visitors are fond of –
explains Daniela Porro, Special Superintendent of Rome – and which is renewed every summer and autumn.
What attracts tourists and especially Romans is the charm of the most important imperial thermal plant
which reveals itself in the light of twilight and night: a unique opportunity to access the
monument beyond the usual opening hours”.
