Lens wins the North derby

The Lensois took the lead thanks to Frankowski who scored from the outside of the foot on a corner from the 4th minute. Then the Sang et Or took the break thanks to a goal from Kalimuendo who finally beat Jardim after several failures (37th). At the end of the first period, Xeka reduced the gap by a head (46th). There were many duels and clashes in this first act and an altercation between Gradit and Sanchez at the break set things on fire.

RC Lens returns to its neighbor

Thanks to this short but precious success, Frank Haise’s men overtook their rival and climbed to 7th place with 50 points. Lille pass 8th with 48 points and can see Nantes and Lyon pass them in case of success on Sunday.
