The crew of the frigate “Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov” of the Northern Fleet conducted another launch of the “Zircon” rocket, the Russian Ministry of Defense said. The missile flew over 400 km and successfully hit a target in the White Sea.
“According to the objective control data, the rocket flight corresponded to the specified parameters. Surface ships and naval aviation of the Northern Fleet were involved in the firing and the closure of the area, ”the website of the Ministry of Defense says.
