Djokovic
Novak Djokovic defeated Casper Ruud in the Roland Garros final and becomes the tennis player with the most ‘Greats’ in history (23), surpassing Rafa Nadal (22), who will not dress short again until next year .
Rugby
Some 80,000 French people have enjoyed the city this past weekend with the semifinals of the Top 14 of the French league without hardly any incidents. In addition, the Eibar women’s team was proclaimed champion of the Copa de la Reina yesterday.
Remo
The top five places of the Basque trainers championship in the female category went to the Guipuzcoan boats. Donostiarra, Orio, Arraun Lagunak, Tolosaldea and Hondarribia proved superior to the Vizcans.
Garitano
Gaizka Garitano and Eibar have severed their relationship after the Derio coach was unable to achieve his goal: promote the armored team to the First Division. This season they have not been able to beat Alavés in the playoffs.
