In the last three months of 2023, the executive director of NAA stopped over 600 the sitethrough which they are organized gambling games by companies without a valid license under the Gambling Act. After the publication of the decision on the NRA website, the sites mentioned in it should cease their activity within 3 days. The NRA will refer the court in case, after the expiration of this period, the unregulated online platforms are available in Bulgaria and bets can be made through them by users in the country. The magistrates, in turn, issue an order to Internet service providers in our country to terminate access to the pages and their subdomains.
The decisions of the executive director of the NRA, as well as the orders of the Sofia District Court, are published in the “Online gambling” section on the revenue agency’s website. The NRA also maintains an up-to-date list of websites through which gambling games are organized by persons who do not have a valid license under the Gambling Act. In the event that a user comes across an unregulated online betting platform, he can file a report with the revenue agency at [email protected]. In it, it is necessary to indicate the site and its Internet provider.
