6 million 524 thousand 203 ballot papers will be printed in connection with the 2024 presidential election.
According to Day.Az, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Rovzat Gasimov informed about this at the CEC meeting held today.
He said that there are a number of measures related to the preparation of election ballots.
“The text, form, number and order of the ballots must be prepared 35 days before the voting day. Candidates’ surname, first name, and father’s name are shown in alphabetical order on the ballots,” he added.
It should be noted that extraordinary presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan on February 7, 2024.
It should be recalled that on December 19, the CEC approved the nomination of Ilham Aliyev for the presidency by the ruling New Azerbaijan Party. Ilham Aliyev’s candidacy for the presidency was registered at the CEC meeting held on December 30.
