Abu Dhabi: The figures released by the Ministry of Health and Defense show that 74 more people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the UAE today. After a year, the daily number of covid cases in the country is less than 100. At the same time, almost all the restrictions imposed in the country for the prevention of covid have already been withdrawn.

On Sunday, 74 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the UAE and 202 people who were under treatment recovered from the disease, while no new deaths were reported. So far 197.3 million covid tests have been conducted in the country. Prior to this, on December 13 last year, the number of daily Covid cases in the UAE was less than 100. 92 cases were reported that day.

In a situation where the strong fight against the covid crisis has been almost completely successful, there are no significant covid restrictions in effect in the UAE. The Covid Screening Centers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, which were operating under the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), stopped functioning a few days ago. Currently, there are no covid restrictions or requirements like wearing a mask, including during national day celebrations in the country.
